What does Individual Leasing mean?

Each resident signs their own lease for their specific bedroom. If a roommate moves out, the other residents are not responsible for that person's rent. Common areas are shared spaces.

What are rental installments? Why is my rent not prorated?

To simplify billing, your total rent for the term is divided into equal installments due on the first of each month during your residence. Installment amounts are always equal and are not prorated. If you move in after the first of the month or move out before the last day of the month, you will still pay the full installment for that month.

How do I pay my rent and when is it due?

Rent is due on the first of each month. You can pay online by ACH, debit card, or credit card through the resident portal, or by check or money order at the leasing office. Cash is not accepted. Convenience fees may apply to online payments, and late fees vary by property. Refer to your Housing Contract for more information.

What if I need something repaired in my apartment?

Our onsite maintenance team can help. Please provide specific details about the issue when submitting a request. You can submit a service request through the online resident portal, email your community, or visit or call the office during normal business hours. After hours, you may leave a message with a representative. For emergency maintenance needs, such as lock issues, major leaks, plumbing problems, loss of heat or AC during extreme weather, a refrigerator that is not cooling, or loss of electricity, gas, or water, call the office at any time. An operator will assist you after business hours.

What should I bring to my new apartment?

Furniture and appliances are included, but you should bring your personal belongings. For the common area, consider electronics and their cords or adapters, décor, a trash can and bags, pots and pans, plates, cups, utensils, a coffee maker, cleaning supplies, dishwasher detergent, and laundry detergent. For your bedroom and bathroom, bring linens, pillows, a mattress pad, towels, toiletries, shower hooks and a curtain, a trash can, décor, electronics and their cords or adapters, and anything else that makes you feel at home.
